How should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time. Come with your hair in its natural state so we can look at it together and talk through what’s working, what’s not, and what you’d like to change.
Your appointment time is set aside just for you. Whether that means chatting, sitting quietly, or bringing something to read, the goal is a calm and comfortable experience from start to finish.
Do you offer curly cuts to everyone?
Yes. I work with people of all genders and ages.
Every head of curly hair is different, so each cut is approached individually based on your hair, your routine, and what you’re hoping to get out of the appointment. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all method here.
Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
To keep appointments focused and uninterrupted, guests are asked to attend their appointment alone unless the other person is also receiving a service. This includes children, partners, and friends.
Caregivers or caretakers are always welcome.
This time is set aside just for you and your hair. Whether that means conversation or quiet focus, the goal is a calm, intentional appointment from start to finish.
If you prefer a quieter or low-conversation appointment, you’re always welcome to note that when booking or text ahead of time.


Policies
Post-Appointment Support
After your appointment, I’ll check in by email once you’ve had a chance to wash, style, and diffuse your hair at home. I always like to hear how things are settling and how your curls are feeling in your own routine.
If you run into any questions or something isn’t quite sitting the way you expected, you’re always welcome to reach out. Just text me at (937) 303-7367 within 7 days and we can talk through it or make any small adjustments if needed.
My goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and supported as you learn more about your curls.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
In order to provide the best possible scheduling options to my guests, I require 48 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your visit with me. If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the service price is due prior to booking future appointments. No shows and same day cancellations are subject to a fee of 100% of the service price prior to booking future appointments.
Late Arrival
If you arrive up to 15 minutes late, we may need to adjust parts of the service in order to stay on schedule, while keeping the appointment time the same.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may need to be rescheduled so I can give you the full time and care your service requires. A rescheduling fee may apply.
